Whether you get a suspicious phone call, email or letter, it's helpful to know some tips on recognizing fraud. Check out the great information provided by the FDIC Consumer Protection Department.
If a specific scam is circulating our area, we will post them to this website as soon as we become aware of them.
Recent Alerts:
April 5, 2010 - There is an email circulating like this sample. It states that Intercity State Bank has reason to believe your account security has been compromised. It's a scam. DO NOT click on the link or copy the link! Contact us with any concerns. Be Smart. Be Safe.
January 28, 2010 - As reported in the Wausau Daily Herald on January 28, 2010, there is a current phone calling scheme circulating our area. As a reminder, DO NOT give out any information over the phone. Intercity State Bank would not ask for that information (we already know it!). Kindly report any suspicious phone calls to us. Be Smart.
